Terms of use

In effect from 22 October 2026.

Seller

The online shop MUGA at https://muga.lv is run by its seller. Contact is by email at sveiki@alises-tasites.lv. These terms cover purchase, payment, delivery, and withdrawal.

Contact details are also on https://muga.lv/en/kontakti.

1. General

A purchase on https://muga.lv is a distance contract. It is governed by the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet regulations on distance contracts.

The shop sells only design mugs that are already printed. The buyer does not upload artwork and does not order a custom print.

2. Placing an order

The price, description, and availability are shown with each mug. The currency is the euro.

To order, add a mug to the cart, enter your first and last name, email, and phone at checkout, choose an Omniva or DPD parcel machine in Latvia, and add a note if you need one. Before payment the page shows the mug total, the delivery price, and the amount to pay.

3. Payment

Payments are provided by https://makecommerce.lv/, owned by Maksekeskus AS. You can pay with these Latvian internet banks: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, and Luminor.

After paying in the internet bank, press “Atgriezties pie tirgotāja” to return to the shop.

We pass Maksekeskus AS the personal data needed for the payment. The shop does not see or store your bank login.

The contract starts when the payment is successfully received. If an order cannot be fulfilled, we tell the buyer and refund the amount paid as soon as we can, and no later than 14 days after that notice.

4. Delivery

Delivery is only to Omniva and DPD parcel machines in Latvia. We do not ship to a street address or outside Latvia.

The delivery price is shown before payment. Delivery is free when the mugs total at least €50. Below that, the price shown at checkout applies.

The mugs are already printed and ready to send. After payment we send them to the chosen parcel machine. The carrier then sets the rest of the delivery time. If sending is delayed, we tell the buyer. In an exceptional case the goods may be sent up to 45 calendar days after payment, and we tell the buyer about that.

5. Right of withdrawal

A consumer may withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of the day the mug is received. If the order has several mugs, the period runs from the day the last one is received. This right does not apply to a buyer that is a legal person.

During that time the mug may be examined as it could be in a shop. If it is used beyond that, damaged, or its packaging is materially damaged, the refund may be reduced to match the loss of value.

To withdraw, fill in the form at https://muga.lv/en/atteikums and send it to sveiki@alises-tasites.lv within 14 days of receiving the mug.

The buyer pays the cost of returning the goods, except when the reason for the return is that the goods do not match the order (for example, the wrong or a damaged product).

The mug must be sent back without delay, and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal is sent. After we receive the mug back, we refund every payment received from the buyer for this purchase, no later than 14 days after that. We may wait to refund until the mug is back or we have proof that it was sent.

If the buyer chooses a return method that costs more than the cheapest ordinary shipment, we do not refund the difference.

6. A mug that does not match the contract

A claim that a mug does not match the contract can be made within 2 years of the day it was received. The claim must be sent within 2 months of the day the problem was noticed, by writing to sveiki@alises-tasites.lv.

If the problem appears within one year of receipt, we have to prove that the mug matched the contract when it was received.

We first repair the problem or replace the mug free of charge, when that is possible and not disproportionate. If that cannot be done in a reasonable time, the buyer may ask for a price reduction or a refund, unless the problem is minor.

We answer a complaint in writing within 15 days. We are not responsible for damage that happens after the mug was handed to the buyer because of how the buyer used it.

7. Personal data

For an order we process only what the buyer enters: first and last name, email, phone, the chosen parcel machine, and a note, plus the mugs chosen.

For delivery we pass those details to the chosen carrier, Omniva or DPD. For the payment we pass the necessary data to Maksekeskus AS. The privacy policy says more: https://muga.lv/en/privatums.

We do not send marketing messages, and checkout does not ask for a separate consent to advertising.

8. Disputes

Questions these terms do not cover follow the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

We first try to resolve a dispute by writing to sveiki@alises-tasites.lv. If that does not settle it, a consumer may go to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre, https://www.ptac.gov.lv, or to a court of the Republic of Latvia.

We are not responsible for a delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. If a price in the shop is, because of a mistake, clearly lower than the real price, we may refuse that purchase and ask for the mug back, and we refund the amount received.
