Cookies and privacy

MUGA is a mug shop. This page says what the site stores and why.

Questions about privacy go to sveiki@alises-tasites.lv.

The contact form stores your name, email, and message so we can reply.

An order stores your name, email, phone, delivery address, city, postal code, note, and the mugs you chose, so the order can be fulfilled. These details stay stored in encrypted form.

Payment is handled by MakeCommerce. Card and bank details are entered on their page, not on ours.

The shop does not use advertising cookies and does not send visits to third-party analytics.

The shop layout cookie (alises-shop-grid) remembers whether a phone shows mugs one or two across. A wide screen always shows three across. It lasts up to one year.

The visit mark (alises-viewer) is a random id so opening one mug is not counted again. It is not tied to a name or email and lasts about 13 months.

The cart stays in this browser until you clear it or place an order. That is browser storage, not a cookie.

Favourites also stay in this browser until you remove them.

The light or dark choice also stays in this browser.

Admin cookies appear only when a staff member signs in to manage the shop. Shoppers do not have accounts.

To show the shop as you left it, count unique mug views, answer messages, and fulfill an order.

The site is hosted by Vercel. When a payment is made, MakeCommerce processes it.

We do not sell data or pass it to advertising networks.

Messages and order details are kept as long as needed to reply and fulfill the order.

The layout and view cookies expire as stated above. The cart, favourites, and color mode stay until you delete them in this browser.

You can ask for access to your data, a correction, deletion, a limit on processing, or object to processing.

You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate at www.dvi.gov.lv.

You can delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings.

Deleting the layout cookie returns a phone to one mug per row. A wide screen stays at three across. Deleting the cart or favourites removes the chosen mugs from this device.
